Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) is one of the national-scale research based on the community and has been implemented regularly by the Ministry of Health Research and Development, namely in 2007, 2010 and 2013. Riskesdas results have been widely used either for planning purposes, as well as monitoring and evaluation health development programs at the national, provincial and district / city levels.
The objectives of Riskesdas 2018 are: a) To assess the public health status and the determinants that influence it; b) Assessing changes in public health status indicators and determinants affecting them; and c) Assessing changes in the Public Health Development Index (IPKM) resulting from health development in the Regency / City.
The data collection method Riskesdas 2018 conducted through interviews, measurement, and examination. Activities undertaken are: a) Public health indicator interviews to all selected family members (samples); b) Biomedical examination; and c) Dental examination by the dentist (in collaboration with the Indonesian Dentist Association / PDGI)
