Development of Statistical Agents at Widya Dharma University, Klaten

Klaten, 18 November 2024 – The Klaten Central Statistics Agency (BPS) held coaching activities for Statistical Agents who will work in the Statistics Corner of Widya Dharma University (Unwidha) Klaten. This event was held at Kakung Sableng Resto, Klaten, and was attended by 10 Unwidha students selected by the vice chancellor to play an active role in managing statistical data.

This coaching activity was attended by a number of BPS Klaten employees as resource persons, who provided insight and knowledge regarding techniques for collecting, processing and utilizing valid and reliable statistical data, as well as various other knowledge about BPS. The participants, consisting of students from various study programs, were provided with skills to support their duties as statistical agents at the Unwidha Statistics Corner.

The Unwidha Statistics Corner is planned to be a statistical information center that can be accessed by Unwidha Klaten students. It is hoped that the Statistics Corner can increase statistical literacy. As statistical agents, selected students will have the responsibility to disseminate useful statistical information.
