DEVELOPMENT OF FARMERS' EXCHANGE RATE AND PRICES OF JAWA TENGAH GRAIN PRODUCERS IN DECEMBER 2013

The Central Java Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) in December 2013 decreased by 0.01 percent, namely from 101.68 to 101.66. This is because the change in the price index received by farmers (It) is lower than the change in the price index paid by farmers (Ib). It experienced a decrease of 0.23 percent, from position 110.04 in November 2013 to 110.29 in December 2013. Meanwhile Ib experienced an increase of 0.24 percent, from position 108.23 to 108.48.

Of the 5 (five) agricultural sub-sectors that make up the NTP, 3 (three) sub-sectors experienced a decline in the NTP index, namely the NTP for the Horticulture sub-sector fell 0.21 percent, the NTP for the Livestock sub-sector fell 0.46 percent and the NTP for the Fisheries Sub-sector fell 0. 29 percent. Meanwhile, the sub-sectors that experienced an increase in the index were the NTP for the Food Crops sub-sector which rose 0.08 percent and the NTP for the People's Plantation Crops sub-sector rose 0.84 percent.
