Abstract

The Central Java Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) in January 2014 decreased by 0.24 percent, namely from 101.66 to 101.42. This is because the change in the price index received by farmers (It) is lower than the change in the price index paid by farmers (Ib). It experienced an increase of 0.83 percent, from 110.09 in December 2013 to 111.20 in January 2014. Meanwhile Ib experienced an increase of 1.07 percent, from 108.48 to 109.64.

Of the 5 (five) agricultural sub-sectors that make up the NTP, 4 (four) sub-sectors experienced a decline in the NTP index, namely the NTP for the Foodstuffs sub-sector fell 0.44 percent, the NTP for the Horticulture sub-sector fell 1.08 percent, the NTP for the Livestock sub-sector fell 0. .44 percent and NTP for the Fisheries Sub Sector fell by 0.35 percent. Meanwhile, the sub-sector that experienced an increase in the index, namely the NTP for the People's Plantation Crops sub-sector, rose 0.28 percent.
