Abstract

In March 2014 in Central Java there was inflation of 0.25 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 111.32, lower than inflation in February 2014 of 0.33 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 111.05. Of the six SBH cities, five cities experienced inflation and one city experienced deflation. The four SBH cities that experienced inflation were Kudus City at 0.42 percent with a CPI of 116.87; Purwokerto City was 0.29 percent with a CPI of 111.37; The City of Surakarta and the City of Semarang were 0.27 percent each with a CPI of 110.11 and 110.96 respectively and the City of Tegal was 0.20 percent with a CPI of 108.69. Meanwhile, deflation occurred in Cilacap City at 0.16 percent with a CPI of 113.36.
