Abstract

In April 2014 in Central Java there was deflation of 0.12 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 111.19, lower than inflation in March 2014 which was 0.25 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 111.32. Of the six SBH cities, all experienced deflation. The SBH city that experienced the highest deflation was Tegal City at 0.37 percent with a CPI of 108.29 followed by Kudus City at 0.36 percent with a CPI of 116.45; Surakarta City at 0.15 percent with a CPI of 109.94; Cilacap City at 0.09 percent with a CPI of 113.26; Purwokerto City was 0.08 percent with a CPI of 111.28 and the lowest was Semarang City at 0.04 percent with a CPI of 110.92
