Abstract

In May 2014 in Central Java there was inflation of 0.24 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 111.45, higher than in April 2014 which experienced deflation of 0.12 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 111.19 . Of the six SBH cities, all experienced inflation. SBH City which experienced the highest inflation was Kudus City at 0.36 percent with a CPI of 116.87 followed by Cilacap City at 0.33 percent with a CPI of 113.63; Semarang City was 0.25 percent with a CPI of 111.20; Surakarta City at 0.25 percent with a CPI of 110.22; Purwokerto City was 0.08 percent with a CPI of 111.37 and the lowest was Tegal City at 0.01 percent with a CPI of 108.30.
