The Central Java Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) in July 2014 decreased by 0.13 percent, namely from 100.34 to 100.22. This is because the change in the price index received by farmers (It) is lower than the change in the price index paid by farmers (Ib). It experienced an increase of 0.45 percent, from 111.54 in June 2014 to 112.04 in July 2014. Meanwhile Ib increased 0.58 percent, from 111.16 to 111.80.
Of the 5 (five) agricultural sub-sectors that make up the NTP, 2 (two) sub-sectors experienced a decline in index, namely: the Food Crops sub-sector fell 0.50 percent and the Horticulture sub-sector fell 1.40 percent. Meanwhile, 3 (three) sub-sectors experienced an increase in the NTP index, namely the NTP for the People's Plantation Crops sub-sector rose 0.56 percent, the NTP for the Livestock sub-sector rose 0.90 percent, and the Fisheries sub-sector rose 1.30 percent.
In general, the price index received by farmers increased by 0.45 percent compared to the previous month. The increase in It was influenced by the increase in It in 4 (three) sub-sectors, namely: the Food Crops sub-sector rose by 0.09 percent, the People's Plantation Crops sub-sector rose by 1.22 percent, the Livestock sub-sector rose by 1.32 percent and The Fisheries sub-sector rose 1.73 percent. Meanwhile, sub-sectors experienced a decline in the index, namely: the Horticultural Plants sub-sector fell 0.71 percent.
The price index paid by farmers in July 2014 increased by 0.58 percent compared to June 2014. This increase was influenced by an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of 0.80 percent and an increase in Production Costs and Additional Capital Goods (BPPBM) by 0.21 percent.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in Central Java Province increased by 0.24 percent or from 103.19 to 103.44 compared to the previous month's NTUP.
The Household Consumption Index (IKRT) or rural CPI in Central Java Province experienced an increase or rural inflation of 0.80 percent. Inflation occurred due to an increase in the price index in all groups, including: the Foodstuffs group by 1.32 percent, the Prepared Food group by 0.12 percent, the Housing group by 0.26 percent, the Clothing group by 2.26 percent, the Health group by 0. .28 percent, the Education, Recreation and Sports group rose by 1.25 percent, the Transportation and Communication group rose by 0.17 percent.
Of the 33 provinces (including DKI Jakarta) that were reported, changes in the July 2014 NTP to the June 2014 NTP turned out to be very diverse. The increase in the NTP index occurred in 19 provinces, while 14 other provinces experienced a decline. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Bangka Belitung Province, namely 1.16 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in North Sumatra Province, namely 1.26 percent.
