Development of exports - imports of Central Java, June 2014

Abstract

The export value of Central Java in June 2014 reached 512.63 million US$ or decreased by 1.99 percent compared to exports in May 2014 (514.63 million US$). Meanwhile, compared to June 2013, there was an increase of 42.54 million US$ (9.05 percent). Central Java's cumulative exports for the January-June 2014 period reached 2,945.89 million US$, an increase of 11.93 percent compared to the cumulative January-June 2013 (2,631.98 million US$)

Central Java's exports to the United States for the period January - June 2014 reached the largest figure, followed by exports to China and Japan. The export value to these three countries respectively reached 630.45 million US$, 372.36 million US$ and 266.93 million US$ with a contribution of 43.10 percent to Central Java's total exports for the January-June 2014 period.

Textiles and Textile goods (11), Wood and goods made from Wood (09), and Various manufactured goods (20) are the 3 (three) main commodity groups that had the highest export value during June 2014. Textiles and Textile goods (11) contributed 36.84 percent, wood and wood products (09) contributed 18.23 percent and various manufactured goods (20) contributed 12.28 percent. The export value for these three commodity groups in June 2014 was US$ 189.01 million, US$ 92.03 million and US$ 59.34 million, respectively.

Central Java's oil and gas exports in June 2014 reached 39.71 million US$, up 4.49 percent from oil and gas exports in May 2014, while non-oil and gas exports reached 472.92 million US$ or down 0.78 percent from oil and gas exports in May 2014.
