The Central Java Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) in August 2014 increased by 0.19 percent, namely from 100.22 to 100.41. This is because the change in the price index received by farmers (It) is higher than the change in the price index paid by farmers (Ib). It experienced an increase of 0.40 percent, from position 112.04 in July 2014 to 112.49 in August 2014. Meanwhile Ib experienced an increase of 0.21 percent, from position 111.80 to 112.03.
Of the 5 (five) agricultural sub-sectors that make up the NTP, 3 (three) sub-sectors experienced an increase in index, namely: the Horticulture sub-sector rose 1.22 percent, the Livestock sub-sector rose 0.68 percent, and the Fisheries sub-sector rose 0.19 percent . Meanwhile, 2 (two) sub-sectors experienced a decline in the NTP index, namely the NTP in the Food Crops sub-sector fell by 0.35 percent and the People's Plantation Crops sub-sector fell by 0.99 percent.In general, the price index received by farmers increased by 0.40 percent compared to the previous month. The increase in It was influenced by the increase in It in 3 (three) sub-sectors, namely: the Horticulture sub-sector rose by 1.39 percent, the Livestock sub-sector rose by 0.89 percent and the Fisheries sub-sector rose by 0.44 percent. Meanwhile, sub-sectors experienced a decline in index, namely: the Food Crops sub-sector fell 0.14 percent and the People's Plantation Crops sub-sector fell 0.74 percent.The price index paid by farmers in August 2014 increased by 0.21 percent compared to July 2014. This increase was influenced by an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of 0.19 percent and an increase in Production Costs and Additional Capital Goods (BPPBM) by 0.26 percent.The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in Central Java Province increased by 0.14 percent or from 103.44 to 103.59 compared to the previous month's NTUP.The Household Consumption Index (IKRT) or rural CPI in Central Java Province experienced an increase or rural inflation of 0.19 percent. Inflation occurred due to an increase in the price index in all groups, including: the Foodstuffs group by 0.23 percent, the Prepared Food group by 0.17 percent, the Housing group by 0.24 percent, the Clothing group by 0.04 percent, the Health group by 0. .33 percent, the Education, Recreation and Sports group rose by 0.03 percent, the Transportation and Communication group rose by 0.05 percent.Of the 33 provinces (including DKI Jakarta) that were reported, changes in the August 2014 NTP to the July 2014 NTP turned out to be very diverse. The increase in the NTP index occurred in 14 provinces, while 19 other provinces experienced a decrease. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Lampung Province, namely 1.06 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in South Sumatra Province, namely 1.34 percent.
