Abstract

 The Central Java Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) in April 2015 decreased by 2.08 percent, namely from 99.92 to 97.84. This is because the change in the price index received by farmers (It) is lower than the change in the price index paid by farmers (Ib). It experienced a decline of 1.93 percent, from 116.71 in March 2015 to 114.46 in April 2015. Meanwhile Ib experienced an increase of 0.15 percent, from 116.81 to 116.99.

 Of the 5 (five) agricultural sub-sectors that make up the NTP, 3 (three) sub-sectors experienced a decline in index, namely: the Food Crops sub-sector fell 4.96 percent, the Horticulture sub-sector fell 1.78 percent and the Livestock sub-sector fell 0.48 percent. Meanwhile, the sub-sectors that experienced an increase were: the Plantation Crops sub-sector rose 0.29 percent and the Fisheries sub-sector rose 0.81 percent.
