Abstract

 The labor force in Central Java in August 2015 was 17.30 million people, a decrease of around 248 thousand people compared to the labor force in August 2014 and a decrease of 994 thousand people compared to February 2015.

 The working population in Central Java in August 2015 was 16.44 million people, a decrease of around 116 thousand people compared to the situation in August 2014 and a decrease of around 887 thousand people compared to February 2015.

 The Central Java Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in August 2015 was 4.99 percent, a decrease of 0.69 percentage points compared to the August 2014 TPT (5.68 percent) and a decrease of 0.32 percentage points compared to the February 2015 TPT (5 .31 percent).
