Abstract

The ITK value in Central Java in the first quarter of 2016 was 100.28, which means that the economic condition of households in Central Java improved slightly compared to the previous quarter. The level of household optimism is also better than the previous quarter. The improvement in household economic conditions was mainly driven by the increase in the volume of consumption of goods and services as reflected in the index value of 102.55. Low inflation also boosts the consumer economy, as reflected in the index of the influence of inflation on consumption levels, which is 101.63.
