Abstract

The Central Java Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) in April 2014 decreased by 0.30 percent, namely from 100.28 to 99.98. This is because the change in the price index received by farmers (It) is lower than the change in the price index paid by farmers (Ib). It experienced a decrease of 0.47 percent, from a position of 110.80 in March 2014 to 110.28 in April 2014. Meanwhile, Ib experienced a decrease of 0.17 percent, from a position of 110.49 to 110.30.

Of the 5 (five) agricultural sub-sectors that make up the NTP, 2 (two) sub-sectors experienced a decline in the NTP index, namely the NTP for the Food Crops sub-sector fell 1.17 percent, the NTP for the Horticulture sub-sector fell 0.45 percent. Meanwhile, the sub-sectors that experienced an increase were: the People's Plantation Crops sub-sector, which rose 0.84 percent, the Livestock sub-sector, which rose 0.09 percent, and the Fisheries sub-sector, which rose 0.51 percent.
