Abstract

Based on the 2013 Fixed Figures (ATAP), Central Java rice production in 2013 reached 10.34 million tons of dry milled grain (GKG), an increase of 111.88 thousand tons or 1.09 percent compared to rice production in 2012 which was 10.23 million tons. MPD. This increase in production was influenced by the additional harvest area which reached 71.89 thousand hectares during 2013. Forecast I Figures (ARAM I) for 2014, rice production figures in 2014 were estimated at 9.51 million tons of GKG, or experienced a decline in production that reached - 8.07 percent or 834.90 thousand tons of GKG compared to 2013.
