JAWA TENGAH RICE AND PALAWIJA PRODUCTION (FIXED FIGURES 2014 AND FORECAST FIGURES I 2015)

Abstract

The fixed figure for rice production in 2014 in Central Java reached 9.65 million tons of dry milled grain (GKG), experiencing a decrease in production of -6.73 percent compared to 2013 with production of 10.35 million tons of GKG. The decline in production was influenced by a decrease in harvested area which reached 44.54 thousand hectares. Forecast Figures (ARAM) I for 2015, production figures are estimated at 10.60 million tons of GKG, or an increase in production reaching 9.89 percent or 954.47 thousand tons of GKG compared to 2014.
