Abstract

Based on Forecast Figures (ARAM) II, Central Java Province's rice production in 2015 is estimated at 11.05 million tons of dry milled grain (GKG). Rice production showed an increase of 14.48 percent (1.40 million tonnes) when compared to the 2014 Fixed Rate (ATAP) of 9.65 million tonnes. The increase in rice production was influenced by an increase in harvested area of 3.80 percent, namely from 1.80 million hectares in 2014 to 1.87 million hectares in 2015 or an increase of 68.40 thousand hectares.
