Abstract

In September 2015 in Central Java there was deflation of 0.15 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 120.42, lower than in August 2015 which experienced inflation of 0.29 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 120.61 . Deflation occurred in four SBH cities and two SBH cities experienced inflation. The highest deflation occurred in the City of Surakarta at 0.45 percent with a CPI of 117.97 followed by the City of Semarang at 0.18 percent with a CPI of 120.46; Tegal City was 0.14 percent with a CPI of 117.53 and Purwokerto City was 0.02 percent with a CPI of 119.00. The two cities that experienced inflation were Kudus City at 0.28 percent with a CPI of 126.93 and Cilacap City at 0.06 percent with a CPI of 123.42.
