Abstract

In October 2015 in Central Java there was deflation of 0.04 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 120.38, lower than in September 2015 which experienced deflation of 0.15 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 120.42 . Deflation occurred in three SBH cities and three other SBH cities experienced inflation. The highest deflation occurred in Cilacap City at 0.23 percent with a CPI of 123.13, followed by Semarang City at 0.16 percent with a CPI of 120.27 and Kudus City at 0.11 percent with a CPI of 126.79. Meanwhile, the highest inflation occurred in Tegal City at 0.29 percent with a CPI of 117.87, followed by Surakarta City at 0.26 percent with a CPI of 118.28 and Purwokerto City at 0.02 percent with a CPI of 119.02.
