Abstract

In December 2015 in Central Java there was inflation of 0.99 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 121.84, higher than in November 2015 which experienced inflation of 0.23 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 120. 65. Inflation occurred in all SBH cities in Central Java. The highest inflation occurred in Semarang City at 1.04 percent with a CPI of 121.77 followed by Surakarta City at 0.99 percent with a CPI of 119.83; Tegal City was 0.94 percent with a CPI of 119.26; Kudus City and Purwokerto City were 0.93 each with a CPI of 128.23 and 120.32 respectively and the lowest inflation was in Cilacap City at 0.80 percent with a CPI of 124.37.
