Abstract

In January 2016 in Central Java there was inflation of 0.48 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 122.42, lower than in December 2015 which experienced inflation of 0.99 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 121.84 . Inflation occurred in all SBH cities in Central Java. The highest inflation occurred in Cilacap City at 0.76 percent with a CPI of 125.32 followed by Tegal City at 0.62 percent with a CPI of 120.00; Purwokerto City was 0.57 percent with a CPI of 121.00; Surakarta City was 0.52 with a CPI of 120.45; Kudus City was 0.44 with a CPI of 128.80 and the lowest inflation occurred in Semarang City at 0.39 percent with a CPI of 122.25.
