Abstract

In January 2017 in Central Java, there was inflation of 1.16 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 126.16. This inflation is higher than in December 2016 with inflation of 0.21 percent with a CPI of 124.71. Inflation in Central Java occurred in all SBH cities. The highest inflation occurred in Cilacap City at 1.60 percent with a CPI of 129.85 followed by Kudus City at 1.36 percent with a CPI of 132.98; Surakarta City was 1.16 with a CPI of 123.83; Semarang City was 1.11 percent with a CPI of 125.97; Purwokerto City was 1.05 percent with a CPI of 124.53 and the lowest inflation was in Tegal City at 0.98 percent with a CPI of 123.69.
