Central Java Tourism Development in November 2019

Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Central Java through the entrance to Adi Sumarmo and Ahmad Yani Airports in November 2019 was recorded at 2,982 visits, a decrease of 0.60 percent compared to October when there were 3,000 visits.

The highest number of foreign tourists visiting through the Adi Sumarmo airport entrance came from China, namely 491, followed by the United States 73, Malaysia 52. Meanwhile, the most through the Ahmad Yani airport entrance came from Malaysia 823, Singapore 397 and China with 130 visits.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Central Java in November 2019 was recorded at 52.18 percent, an increase of 3.78 points compared to the TPK in October which was recorded at 48.40 percent. When compared to the same period in 2018, the TPK for November 2019 also increased by 5.58 points.

The highest TPK in November 2019 occurred at 5-star hotels, namely 63.62 percent and the lowest for 1-star hotels at 32.48 percent.

The average length of stay (RLM) for star hotel guests in November 2019 was recorded at 1.45 nights, an increase of 0.10 points compared to October which was recorded at 1.35 nights.

In November 2019, foreign RLM was recorded at 1.89 nights, a decrease of 0.14 points compared to the previous month which was recorded at 2.03 nights. Meanwhile, domestic RLM was recorded at 1.44 nights, an increase compared to the October period which was recorded at 1.34 nights.
